Abby is a Lancaster County native and a 2020 graduate from Lampeter-Strasburg High School. Her passion for physical therapy began in high school, after experiencing physical therapy twice for sport-related injuries. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science (2024) and Doctor of Physical Therapy (2026) from Lebanon Valley College, following a 16-week full-time clinical rotation at Prana.
While at Lebanon Valley College (LVC), Abby was an active member in the swim team, pro-bono clinic (CURE Clinic), anatomy research, and Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS) research. She collaborated with faculty and peers to create a free anatomy fundamentals study manual for healthcare students at LVC. Her capstone research project evaluated the effectiveness of the Body Braid in individuals with hEDS and Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder (HSD) on balance, body space awareness, and pain. This project was especially meaningful because of her own experiences with hypermobility. In addition to hypermobility, Abby also has a strong foundation in manual therapy and swimming exercise programming.
Her study abroad experiences helped shape a broader perspective on global healthcare systems and education. She spent a semester in Dublin, Ireland, working and studying alongside Irish physical therapy students. She also traveled throughout Poland, learning and experiencing Polish healthcare and their education systems compared to the United States.
Outside of work, Abby enjoys reading, swimming, crocheting, arts and crafts, hiking, and spending time with friends and family. She is excited to begin her journey at Prana and help you achieve your goals.
"I so appreciated my therapy with the Prana Team. "Appreciated" is an odd word for expressing/conveying/describing the new lease on life! I feel 10 years younger and 50 times stronger!"
Mary Y.
"I cannot thank you enough what you did for everything you did for me. I literally feel like a new person and everyday I appreciate not having constant pain in my neck, shoulder and arm."
Erica M.

Functional Manual Therapy® is an approach to patient care coined and developed by Gregory and Vicky Johnson in the early 1990’s.
We are unique in that we do not have any physical therapy assistants on staff; we provide all our patients direct contact with a licensed physical therapist for personalized, one-on-one treatment sessions

Dawn is a CFMT (certified functional manual therapist), which means she is only one of 4 in Pennsylvania to be certified with this proven, effective system for treatment of a wide spectrum of patients.
Justin, Heather, Charlie, Shannon, Joseph, Sean, and Adam are also very knowledgeable in functional manual therapy as this is Prana's paradigm of treatment.
Natalie can help you with all of your billing questions. And with Lori and Brandy, they can get you scheduled, take your payment and facilitate any logistical questions to get you started.
